My passion led me to discover the fresher the coffee, the better it tasted! Fairly simple stuff, really, if you think about it. I decided to get it as fresh as possible and roast it myself. After many wonderful roasts, I have developed a method that produces a consistent, desirable product. We are located in Arvada, Colorado at 5,550 feet in elevation. With over 300 days of sunlight, finding a nice day to roast is never a problem.
Coffee has been in my life since I was 5 years old and my grandpa gave me a cup (much to my mother’s disagreement). Living in Seattle for two years helped develop my palate and doing “cuppings” with Robert has refined my palate to a new level where I can now define flavors like cocoa to floral hints and detect brightness, body and aftertastes with precision. I help out with the website and the books as well as packing and shipping orders.
Craft Roasted Coffee Beans

We specialize in hand-roasted craft coffee beans with roasts ranging from light roasts with a brighter flavor to dark roasts with a fuller body and flavor.
Our process has evolved from a frying pan to a drum Roasted. Beans are roasted until their first "crack" and pulled from the drum at specific times. The beans are cooled immediately after roasting to prevent over-roasting.
Our specialty beans come from Costa Rica, Ethiopia and Sumatra. Each roast is unique in how the bean is processed and other factors such as weather, region, and altitude.
